The  rocky road from laboratory to the news

Research by Annenberg’s Jean M. Brechman, Ph.D.; Chul-joo Lee, Ph.D.; and Joseph Cappella, Ph.D. indicate that news stories about cancer research in the mass media often do not fairly represent the original science.  Their work, which is in press with the Journal of Communication, is featured on the University of Pennsylvania’s web page.
