Prof. Hampton talks about technology and isolation on cable television news program Keith N. Hampton, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Communication, talks about social media and technology's potential to isolate people during a cable television news program. Fineman: The good old days of journalism may not have been that good Howard Fineman, political columnist for The Huffington Post, talked about the new and old days of the news media in part three of his trio of lectures at Annenberg. Joseph N. Cappella, Ph.D., the Gerald R. Miller Professor of Communication, lectured recently at the University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR) during his sabbatical visit to the school. The talk was about designing effective anti-smoking messages for public health. Annenberg lecturer Al Felzenberg opines in U.S. News & World Report about Gerrymandering and attempts by politicians to hold on to power. Alison Perelman's work honored during NCA.
