Prof. Kraidy wins NCA Diamond Book Award

Congratulations to Marwan M. Kraidy, Ph.D., Professor of Communication, for winning the Diamond Book Award from the National Communication Association.  Also this past week his promotion to full professor became official.

Prof. Jackson edits special edition of academic journal on race and religion

John L. Jackson, Jr., Ph.D., the Richard Perry University Professor of Communication and Anthropology, is the co-editor of a special edition of The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, focusing on race and religion.

Congratulations to the Annenberg Public Policy Center’s team of Amy Bleakley, Ph.D.; Michael Hennessy, Ph.D.; Martin Fishbein, Ph.D.; and Amy Jordan, Ph.D., for the publication of their article in the journal Health Education & Behavior.

The Annenberg School for Communication’s Center for Global Media Studies’ ongoing media strengthening efforts in Afghanistan continues to build infrastructure on the legal media front, with the development of a media lawyers forum and the first-ever media themed moot court competition.
