Annenberg students, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty will present their research at the 2012 National Communication Association annual conference in Orlando, Fla. Nov. 15 – 18.  You can see a sample of Annenberg activity at NCA here.

Students Susan Mello, Dina Shapiro, and Andy Tan were among the Annenberg presenters at the American Public Health Association annual meeting Oct. 27 – 30 in San Francisco.  Details here.

Faculty in the news

Diana Mutz, Ph.D., the Samuel A. Stouffer Professor of Communication and Political Science, was a guest on the National Public Radio program “Radio Times with Marty Moss Coane” recently, talking about political campaigning advertising and whether or not it works.  She also spoke to The Philadelphia Inquirer about the same topic.

Kathleen Hall Jamieson, Ph.D., the Elizabeth Ware Packard Professor of Communication and Director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center, debriefed the 2012 campaign during an interview on National Public Radio.

Annenberg undergraduates in the Huffington Post

Undergraduate alumnus David Helfenbein (C ’08 ) harkens back to David Eisenhower’s political rhetoric class for an analysis of President Barack Obama’s Nov. 6 election night victory speech.  Meanwhile, current undergraduate Ernest Owens muses about technology and its role in how we consume information.
