Politics, money, and technology: Prof. Turow talks tailored advertising

Joseph Turow, Ph.D., the Robert Lewis Shayon Professor of Communication, was a panelist at a “Tenement Talks” panel about political campaigning and technology.  Co-hosted by ProPublica, the panel covered Prof. Turow’s research into tailored political advertising.

Prof. Jamieson and the 2012 political campaign

Kathleen Hall Jamieson, Ph.D., the Elizabeth Ware Packard Professor of Communication and director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center, participated in a live chat on Moyers & Company on Sept. 7.  Prof. Jamieson was also quoted in multiple political campaign stories with the Associated Press:  A story about GOP money vs. Democratic grass roots, an essay about President Obama’s public speaking skills, a third story titled “Politics and truth: Uneasy partners, easy enemies,”  and a fourth about the plusses and minuses of an ex-president on the campaign trail.
