Annenberg Public Policy Center sponsors Washington, D.C. event on campaign donors and accountability

 

 

 

“The Role of Journalism in Debunking Deception and Holding Campaigns and Donors Accountable” is a panel discussion sponsored by the Annenberg Public Policy Center Wednesday, September 26, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The event goes from 9 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m.

The event, which will be live on C-SPAN2, will feature presentations by Kathleen Hall Jamieson, Ph.D., the Elizabeth Ware Packard Professor of Communication and Director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center; Brooks Jackson from FactCheck.org; doctoral candidate Emily Thorson; and Bruce W. Hardy, Ph.D. (Gr ’10), a senior researcher at APPC. A full agenda can be seen here.
