Welcome new doctoral students

Annenberg welcomes new students, introduces faculty, visiting scholars, and staff during the 2012 Convocation.

Honorary doctoral degree for Prof. Krippendorff

Klaus Krippendorff, Ph.D., the Gregory Bateson Professor of Communication, is the recipient of an honorary degree from Linnaeus University.

Annenberg in the news

Dean Michael X. Delli Carpini talked to The Philadelphia Inquirer about actor Clint Eastwood’s empty chair speech during the Republican National Convention.

The quadrennial “Conventions” class for Annenberg undergraduate and Fels Institute of Government graduate students was covered by ABC television affiliate WPVI in Philadelphia, and by the Associated Press. Prof. Kathleen Hall Jamieson talked to The Los Angeles Times about the legacy of George W. Bush and how it will be played during the Democratic National Convention. She also spoke to The Washington Post about the role of Presidential wives during conventions and campaigns.

Doctoral candidate Khadijah White writes an op-ed about the Occupy Philadelphia movement in a recent edition of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
