Inaugural PARGC Distinguished Lecture in Global Communication

Michael Curtin from the University of California, Santa Barbara will deliver the lecture “In the Shadow of Official Ambition: National Cultural Policy Confronts Global Media Capital” Thursday, September 19, at 6 p.m. in Room 109.

Additionally, the Annenberg Center for Global Communication Studies (CGCS) and Project for Advanced Research in Global Communication (PARGC) present an all-day symposium, “Digital Methods, Ethical Challenges, on Oct. 10 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Room 500).

Call for submissions (by Oct. 15) for the Screening Scholarship Media Festival, sponsored by the Annenberg School for Communication, The Graduate School of Education, the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly at Penn, and the Annenberg School Culture Lab.
