Profs. Turow, Kraidy, Price receive Penn Global Engagement Fund Grant
The grant will fund a study of the impact of mobile communication on commerce, health, government.
Study by doctoral student Rui Shi, Profs. Paul Messaris and Joseph Cappella finds that online comments can undermine anti-smoking PSAs.
Prof. John Jemmott and team deploy successful large-scale HIV intervention and education project in South Africa.

Prof. Diana Mutz’ participation in the lawsuit that eventually struck down the controversial voter identification law in Pennsylvania was mentioned during a National Public Radio broadcast of the program “Radio Times with Marty Moss Coane.” Additionally, Prof. Mutz is speaking at Essex College and Nuffield College, Oxford University this week regarding the Political Psychology of Globalization.
